Ohio Lawn Care Chemical Application Laws & Licensing Requirements

Applies to Lawn & Ornamental / Turf Applications

These requirements apply to lawn care companies performing pesticide applications to turf and ornamental landscapes in Ohio, including:

  • Weed control (herbicides)
  • Insect control (insecticides)
  • Disease control (fungicides)
  • Any product with an EPA Registration Number, including Restricted Use Pesticides (RUPs)

Even if your business does not perform structural pest control, applying these products to lawns places you under Ohio pesticide regulations.

Spraye’s service is great for running a lawn care business and their customer care is the best. I’ve had a lot of questions while still learning to use the software and Callie has been super helpful and responds almost immediately to me! Definitely recommend them for your CRM needs!

Jim Beveridge
Yards Done Right, Owner

I think it’s one of the easiest ones out there to use. Set up of your programs takes about 5 minutes each. The chem tracking is amazing. I love that the customer gets an email when I schedule them, one the day before and the bill afterwards. They can pay right from the invoice.
